CONDITION STANDARDS:
VERY FINE: (VFine)- Highest grade assigned to any book. Defined as crisp fresh copy, new, unread. Some sellers will use “Mint” or “New” to describe this standard grade.
FINE: (Fine)- A Copy without visible flaws, but will lack the pristine newness of a Very Fine copy. Any minor blemish to book or dust jacket will be noted in condition description.
VERY GOOD+: (VGood+) – A Copy with minor visible flaws. Minor shelf wear or bumping to top/bottom of book/dust jacket spine, or perhaps a bump to a corner or two. Many sellers will use Near Fine as a comparable grade.
VERY GOOD:(VGood) -The most common grade given to a collectable copy. A very good copy is no longer fresh. it has been handled, read, with some signs of wear. Flaws like ownership signatures, owner bookplates, remainder marks, rubbing, foxing, scuffing, chips, tears, price clipping to dust jackets, spine leans are acceptable and will be noted. Ex-library copies will usually fall into this grade.
GOOD: (Good)- This is the lowest grade given a collectable book. The book has been used and many times abused but is whole. Flaws like damp staining, cracked hinges, design elements of the dust jacket lost although jacket not fragmentary, are examples of major flaws to cast a book into Good.
Don’t forget to check out the pregnancy pillow to sleep comfortably every night.
Just wanted to let others know that the two books I received were in excellent condition, better than described, and authenticate signatures.
I will definitely buy from then again!
